The G-spot is a small pea-sized area on the front wall inside the vagina which, when massaged properly, swells up to the size of a penny and provides hours of sexual pleasure for the female. The area feels rough like the shell of a walnut, instead of being smooth and slippery. This zone may be reached by inserting at least a finger into the vagina, or through sexual intercourse (as unprotected sex may lead to the transmission of diseases, it is recommended that condoms, preferably lubricated latex condoms are used before contact. Durex condoms work well for this purpose. The G-spot is named after Ernst Grafenberg, a gynecologist who described its existence in 1944. On the other hand, ancient teachers of tantric sex have been talking about it for at least a thousand years. Although a very intense area for stimulation, unfortunately not all women have this pleasure zone. The feeling that is experienced when it is massaged also varies between women. For some it is easily stimulated for pleasure, while others are overwhelmed by a desire to urinate once it is massaged too much. Others, while possessing this area, don’t feel any different from someone who does not.
Experts differ on the issue of what the G-spot actually is. One theory suggests that it exists very much like the male prostate. The Y-chromosome in the developing fetus places cells in that specific position and results in the presence of the G-spot. Another theory suggests that the G-spot is but one of many pleasure areas in a large zone which includes the outer clitoris and the urethra, called the anterior wall erogenous complex. Another theory proposes that the G-spot serves more purposes other than sexual stimulation among women. Studies have shown that stimulation of this area increases pain thresholds among women by up to 47%, if the stimulation is particularly arousing; it reaches 84%, and peaks at a high 107% upon orgasm. This suggests that the G-spot serves as a natural painkiller during childbirth.
If a woman decides to discover this area by herself, it is recommended that she lies down with the back flat against the surface, and bring the knees way up until it reaches the chest. This shortens the distance between the inner vaginal wall and the opening, and insertion of the forefinger up to the knuckles and doing a curling motion with it should hit the spot. Its best to find it while a woman is sexually aroused since it is bigger in this situation. She should also make sure that she has an empty bladder before massaging this area, as initial reaction may include a strange sensation, and an urgent need to urinate.
Stimulation of the G-spot may require the female to bend over in a standing position or on all fours and being penetrated from behind. It is advisable that couples consider the use of condoms before contact. Lubricated condoms greatly enhance the sensation and helps stimulation. Use Durex condoms for satisfactory results. Up to ten percent of women who were stimulated to orgasm have ejected anywhere from 9ml to 900ml of fluid which is very similar to urine without the stingy smell.
